You completed payment and the app still shows daily limits. In almost every case this fixes itself within a minute or two, and there are things you can do to hurry it.

Do this, in order

1. Switch back to the app tab. Whenever a non-Pro account brings the tab back into focus, the app re-checks your status, including asking Stripe directly rather than waiting to be told. Simply returning to the tab is often enough.

2. Wait a minute, then reload the page. If you waited on the checkout page for about five minutes without it resolving, the app says the same thing itself: Payment received but Pro is still activating. If limits persist, reload the page in a minute to refresh your access.

3. Let a limit screen appear. When the limit screen opens, the app re-checks your Pro status behind it and closes the screen by itself if you turn out to be Pro after all.

When it works you get Pro access detected! Limits removed. or Welcome to Pro! All limits removed. Enjoy unlimited access!

Why there is a delay at all

Payment happens on Stripe. Stripe then tells us, and that message occasionally arrives late or goes missing entirely.

Rather than leaving you stuck when it does, the app asks Stripe directly at several points: while you wait after checkout, whenever you refocus the tab, and before showing you a limit screen. There is also a scheduled reconciliation that runs daily. So a lost message is recovered rather than permanent.

If it is still not Pro after a reload

Email support@servicedesk-simulator.com from your account’s address and include:

  • The email address you paid with, if it differs from your account address
  • The date of the payment

Checkout links your payment to your account by an internal account id rather than by email, so paying with a different address does not by itself stop Pro from activating. It is still worth telling us, because it does affect the fallback routes we use to find a payment by hand, and it separately affects the billing portal. See below.

A different symptom: Pro works, but the billing portal does not recognise you

If Pro is active but Manage Subscription or Update Payment Method dead-ends, that usually is the email mismatch. Stripe’s checkout accepts any address, so it is easy to pay with a personal address while your account uses a school one, and the portal looks you up by the address on the payment.

Email support with both addresses and we can reconnect them.

Payment setup error. Please try again. Checkout could not be opened at all. No payment was taken.

Payment system is being configured. Check back soon! The plan you selected is not currently available to buy. Nothing was charged. The app deliberately refuses to bill you for a different plan than the one on the button, so try the other billing period or contact support.

Check the charge actually went through

Open Settings, then Billing. If it shows Active or Cancels with a date, the subscription exists and this is only the app catching up. If it shows Free, no subscription is attached to this account, and the email mismatch above is the most likely explanation.
