The PC Shelf holds every computer you have finished in Computer Deployment. Open it from Tools, under Infrastructure.
It is a staging area rather than a tool you do anything in. The empty state explains the whole thing: Set up a PC to add it to the shelf. Built computers wait here until you ship one out from the Ship Manager.
What it shows
The machines you have built, with a count reading how many are ready to ship.

The order of operations
Hardware tickets run through several tools in sequence, and the shelf is the middle of it:
- Computer Deployment, build the machine. It has to be finished, or it never reaches the shelf.
- PC Shelf, the machine is waiting.
- Ship Manager, post it to the user.
Asset Management sits alongside rather than in the middle. Register a machine there when the ticket calls for checking kit out to somebody, which onboarding tickets do. For a straight replacement you can ship from the shelf without registering first.
If Ship Manager tells you No replacement PC is ready yet. Build one in Computer Deployment — it’ll appear here to ship., the shelf is empty and step 1 is where to go.
