Join

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Select the graduation-cap icon in the top right, labelled Join Class. If it is not there, open the profile menu, select Settings, then Classroom, then Join Class.
  3. Type the join code your teacher gave you. Generated codes are 6 characters of letters and numbers, and the field uppercases them for you.
  4. Select Join Classroom.

You get Joined “{name}”! You now have Pro access.

If your teacher sent you an invite link, the code is filled in for you and you only need to confirm.

Verify your email first

You cannot join a classroom until your email address is verified. If it is not, you get Please verify your email before joining a classroom. See Verify your email address.

What you get

Unlimited access for as long as you are enrolled: no daily ticket limit, no daily call limit, plus voicemails and mock interviews. You never see the limit screen. It costs you nothing, and you do not enter card details.

Your username shows a PRO label, and the leaderboard gains a My Class view alongside Global.

One class at a time

You can be in one classroom. Joining a different one means leaving the current one first, and the app walks you through that rather than doing it silently. See Leave or switch class.

If the code will not work

Invalid join code. Please check and try again. The code does not match any classroom. Check for typos. Generated codes leave out the characters people confuse, so a code the system issued contains no letter I, letter O, digit zero or digit one. If you are reading one off a whiteboard and see what looks like a zero, it is probably the letter O. Your teacher can set a code by hand, though, so this is a good guess rather than a guarantee.

This join code is not usable right now. Please ask your teacher for a new one. A rare clash where the code matches more than one classroom. It is not something you can fix. Your teacher can generate a new code and hand it out.

Too many join attempts. Try again later. There is a limit of five join attempts an hour, and every attempt counts, including ones that worked. Wait an hour.

What your teacher can see

Your teacher’s dashboard shows the tickets you resolve, your score, your calls, and when you were last active, plus the assignments you submit. They see your progress in the simulator. They do not get access to your account.
